I drive north up there quite often love getting off main roads and find everything so much better than life here in southern cal. hate the way  southern cal has tried to take over your way of life and your resources. I grew up in the blue ridge mountains and so much about the state of Jefferson reminds me of home. Eventually want to move north to live in your area.

I really enjoyed my visit through the State of Jefferson to visit Redding (Northernmost In-N-Out), The Capital Yreka and especially Hwy 69 along the Klamath river to Seiad Valley where the cook at the Seiad Valley Inn made the comment which I will always remember "Nothing is finer than to be sitting here eating pancakes in the Great State of Jefferson!" I will return as often as I can to the peace and solitude of the SOJ.
