I am sick and tired of not having a say in what is supposed to be my state. The democrats and liberals of northern Oregon don't have a clue what we need in southern Oregon. The only way we will not get cancelled out or have a say again is in the state of Jefferson. P.S. Whoever wants to include San Francisco and Sacramento is a complete fool. That's what we're trying to get away from!

We don't need the bay area or Sacramento to prop up our economy. We can sell them water, electricity, and almonds. We can create a business friendly environment that would attract businesses to relocate and create jobs just north of occupied California in Jefferson.  Shasta County has a high welfare burden that can be addressed by ensuring all people working and living in the State of Jefferson are citizens of the United States of America.

Might be time to revisit and old idea.  I read today where Texas could split into 5 states giving them 10 senators (that would put things back in balance).  I would like to be out from under Boxer and Feinstein and the state reps that have pulled us down for the last 30 years.  I would like to see a state more aligned and responsive to my values and beliefs.

The entire purpose of establishing a state is to allow for unique geographical and societal differences, across our great nation.  However, the southern and central areas of California are very different from the northern part.  The natural resources are different, population density differs, and our geography is much different.  The law of the entire state of California does not adequately represent the people of Northern California.  The laws and legislation passed in California represent the wishes of the people of Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Francisco.  Those people do not live here, yet their votes govern our way of life.  They do not live here, but the drain our lakes and rivers and cut our timber.  They do not live here, and they do not represent us or our values.

(Editor note: Yes, they do want to drain our lakes by removing dams that provide hydro-power. Where is timber being cut? There is no timber market.)

I strongly believe now that times are changing ever faster than before, and it will be up to folks like you and I to make changes necessary to live Free with all the rights that this Country was founded on .
