Let's face it, it's all about freedom. When we are free to pursue financial independence without being overburdened by taxes and regulation, we have a better sense of peace and purpose of life - essentially, the American dream.

Life isn't all about money, but being free of debt and holding real property are basic tenets of self-determination.

Today's economic environment handed to us by our representatives promotes debt as the way to prosperity. This premise is the nature of the Federal Reserve System and fiat currency.

The United States is now the largest debtor nation burdening our own citizens with piles of debt and interest payments. We may not want to know the answer of how this debt can be paid. The first step to freedom is to become debt-free, with the possible exception of mortgage debt.
